At Harper Green School, every student is known, valued and supported. Our pastoral team is committed to creating a safe, caring and inclusive environment where students feel happy, respected and confident to achieve their very best.

We believe that positive relationships are at the heart of a successful education. By working closely with students, families and external agencies, we provide the guidance, encouragement and support needed to help every young person overcome challenges, build resilience and thrive both in school and beyond.

Our pastoral vision is to ensure every student feels safe, valued and cared for, enabling them to become respectful, happy, ambitious and inquisitive young people who achieve their full potential and make a positive difference in the wider world.

Meet Our Pastoral Team

Every student belongs to a dedicated Year Team who provides pastoral care and support throughout their time at Harper Green School. The Year Team is the first point of contact for students and parents and plays a key role in supporting students' wellbeing, attendance, behaviour, personal development and overall school experience.

Each Year Team consists of a Head of Year, an Assistant Head of Year and a non-teaching Pastoral Coordinator. Together, they work closely with teaching staff, families and external agencies to ensure every student receives the guidance and support they need to thrive.
