anti-bullying roadshow

All pupils in Years 7 - 9 participated in the Anti-Bullying Roadshow over a period of three days.

Each session consisted of a production of 'Chronicle of a Bully', a one-man hard-hitting play which chartered the life of a man at different stages in his life. He was bullied at school. The play covered many aspects of bullying including cyber-bullying and also incorporated the theme for this years anti-bullying week "words can hurt".

The play was then followed by an exciting and energetic workshop in which pupils were able to discuss their views on bullying and to listen to advice on how to deal with bullying including peer mediation and peer support as well as assertiveness and building confidence.
